Posi-STRUT®'s

Posi-STRUT®'s are a very popular means of constucting both roof and flooring systems. Calco Trusses & Timber use Mitek's Posi-STRUT® floor system to provide an easy way to construct long span floor and rafter systems.

Posi-STRUT® open web trusses are based on a unique "V" shaped steel web with integral teeth, which, when used with timber chords, forms long, strong, parallel chord trusses.This enables building design freedom as the open web system combines the strength of steel with the flexibility of timber for easy installation whilst allowing for services such as electrical, plumbing and air conditioning to be run between the top and bottom chords of the Posi-STRUT®

Posi-STRUT®'s are individually designed to your needs and we engineer them using the latest Mitek 20/20 software to meet Australian Standards, which assures the strength and flexibility of your floor or roof system. This also ensures that no onsite trimming or drilling is required.

Handling and installation is faster, easier and safer wiith Posi-STRUT®'s being 50% lighter than solid timber floor or roof joists.
